Black Friday and Cyber Monday exercise machines
Hydrow Wave Rowing Machine: was $1,895, now $1,695 at Amazon
Save $200 The Hydrow Wave is up there with the Concept 2 RowErg, vying for the title of my favorite rowing machine. It’s more compact and affordable than the original Hydrow Rower, while still offering the same smooth rowing action. It actually dropped to an even lower price last Black Friday ($1,495) but if you can't wait until November 24 to see if it drops again, this is still a decent price.
Echelon Row-S Rowing Machine: was $1,599, now $605.03 at Amazon
Save $993.97 This more affordable Hydrow rival is now even cheaper thanks to a 62% Black Friday/ Cyber Monday discount. It has a 22" rotating touchscreen for follow-along workouts, both on and off the rower, as well as 32 levels of magnetic resistance and a foldable design for easier storage.
Aviron Impact Series Rower: was $1,899, now $1,499 at Aviron
Save $400 If you don’t like the seriousness of some exercise classes, this Aviron rowing machine is for you. Chatting with the creators and testing the machine, I found it uses games to motivate you to row rather than just setting a pace or stroke rate to hit—one Space Invaders-esque game even had me lasering aliens with each stroke. The result? I racked up a quick 2,000m without even realizing.
Peloton Tread: was $3495, now $2695 at Dicks Sporting Goods
Save $800 Good treadmills don't come cheap, but this early Black Friday discount has made the ever-popular Peloton machine more affordable. Read our full Peloton Tread review.

How to find the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday fitness deals
To get the most out of the online Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, take a look at these simple rules for the big weekend:
- Keep checking back here as we’ll be updating this page regularly with deals we know are genuinely worth the money.
- Shop around: Some deals are going to look fantastic, with huge price cuts, but occasionally some of these prices will have been inflated before being cut. Look at other stores to find out the real value of what you're buying.
- Check the stock levels: Most retailers will flag a product with a small message when it's low in stock. Look for this before deciding to go elsewhere, as you may come back and find it all gone.
- Get a Prime account: We've already spoken about Amazon and why it's so essential for getting some of the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals available. However, to really get the best out of Amazon (including free shipping), you'll want a Prime account. If you don't want to continue with the benefits Prime membership delivers, then just cancel the trial. It's that simple: you won't have spent a dime, but will have already got access to Amazon's best sales.
- Pay securely: Scammers are out there looking for your card details. Credit cards offer a more secure way to pay than debit cards, or you can set up your card on services like PayPal for an extra layer of protection.
- Aim for the big-ticket items first: Proportionately, you'll get the biggest savings on the biggest items. If you've been considering buying one of the best treadmills or an expensive fitness watch for a while, now is the time to shop around and pull the trigger.
From exercise bikes to resistance bands, anything and everything is discounted. The biggest discounts are often on the biggest products, as discounts are usually done on percentages to incentivize buyers.
If you're in the market for big workout equipment, this is the time to strike, as these are the big purchases that are likely to be significantly cheaper. Likewise, for any small electronics with high prices – think Fitbits and Apple Watches – you can expect to see significant discounts, especially with last year's models.
Finally, don't forget the smaller stuff: from resistance bands to running socks, you'll be able to pick loads of these essentials from many big outlets.
What dates are Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals?
In 2023, Black Friday falls on November 24, with the bulk of deals continuing until Cyber Monday on November 27. However, over the years, retailers have started to extend their discounts to cover the weeks surrounding the event, with some starting as early as October and lasting into the Christmas sales.
We’ll continue to update this page with the best savings on offer throughout this period, so make sure to bookmark it and keep checking back for the latest fitness deals.
Do treadmills go on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Treadmills are one of many types of fitness equipment to be subject to the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, with the opportunity to make significant savings on these big ticket items.
Last year we saw the Peloton Tread fall in price by $250, and a premium Bowflex treadmill (the BXT6) fall below $900 at Best Buy.
If low-impact activities are more your speed, you’re also sure to find some of the best rowing machines and exercise bikes massively reduced over the course of the sale event, as well as reduced fitness trackers and Black Friday weights deals.
