I test a lot of walking shoes and the Skechers Max Cushioning Elite 2.0 Speed Play is one of my favorites. It's an affordable option if you're looking for the sort of cushioning and bounce offered by brands like Hoka and New Balance, but don't want the price tag.

The Max Cushioning Elite 2.0 was reduced by 20% on Amazon last week for Big Deal Days (AKA October Prime Day), but now there's an even better discount! The reduction has increased to 24%, bringing them down to $75.69. Hurry though, as there is a limited amount of stock available.

Save up to 24% As with all shoe deals on Amazon, the discount changes by sizes and style, making it a bit of a crapshoot. There is still a 21% discount on the blue/lavendar colorway, but the better discount is on the brighter white/pink shoes.

I rated these shoes 4.5/5 stars when I tested them, placing them near the top of my best walking shoe guide and the title of Best from Skechers. I've tested several options from Skechers and the Max Cushioning Elite 2.0 is definitely the most durable. It is designed for high energy return, making it a fantastic shoe for walking and running. The miles melt by in these shoes, and I still reach for them for runs and walks over six months after receiving my pair.
