These adidas Gore-Tex shoes are the most watertight sneakers I've tested

In my role as a fitness writer, I test a lot of walking shoes and my main complaint about many of them is that they are water-resistant and not waterproof. The adidas Terrex Free Hiker Low features a Gore-Tex upper that protects your feet from the heaviest rain. While they won't save you if you put your whole leg in a river, I splashed through plenty of puddles during my testing and returned with dry socks every time.

This is the best walking shoe deal I've seen this year, with up to 51% off the women's Terrex Free Hiker Low at Amazon. The October Prime Day event is almost over, so snap up this deal while you have the chance and prepare your wardrobe for winter.

Save up 51% These shoes are designed for the trail and are the most waterproof shoes I've tested. They are fairly well cushioned and comfortable, despite being a little more rigid than some of the other shoes in our guide.

I rated these shoes 4/5 stars, earning them a place near the top of our walking shoe guide. They are heavier than some other shoes in the guide and take a few days to break in, but they are excellent as trail shoes.

They have grippy soles that do well over slippery and uneven terrain and the loops on the heel and tongue of the shoe make them easy to pull on. If you want a plush shoe for walking on concrete, this might not be the best choice, but for going off-road you won't find better at a lower price.
