The Brooks Glycerin 21 ticks all my boxes for one of the best walking shoes, achieving a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars when I tested them earlier this year. The super-soft cushioning, bouncy sole and energy return all make this a top-notch shoe.

Currently, you can save up to 27% on a pair of these shoes, depending on the size or style you choose. They are designed for road running and offer cloud-like cushioning that will support your foot for hours of running or walking.

Save up to 27% I would put these shoes on a level with the Hoka Clifton 9 and Nike Pegasus 41 for cushioning and bounce. If you like these shoes but are looking for something slightly different at a reduced price, the Brooks Glycerin 21 is a great shoe to choose.

The toe box is nice and roomy and the upper is soft and flexible, making for a comfortable experience even when walking on hard surfaces like concrete. The upper is also super breathable, with an engineered warp-knit upper, which allows your feet to breathe, even on hot days. Unfortunately, this breathability does there's little water resistance.

The Glycerin 21 is 0.3 oz lighter than the Glycerin 20, but also has a 2mm increased stack height compared to the previous generation (I love a high-stack shoe). All of these factors make the Glycerin 21 a great walking (or running) shoe, and if you're looking for some new shoes, with a nice discount on Amazon, why wouldn't you?
