I test walking shoes for a living and my favorite Skechers shoe is currently $20 off
There are plenty of sizes in both colorways too
I love the Max Cushioning Eite 2.0 walking shoes from Skechers, which have similar amounts of cushioning and bounce to the Hoka Bondi 8 and are even comparable to the Brooks Glycerin Max, without the Brooks price tag. I gave this pair of Skechers one of the top spots in my selection of the best walking shoes, because it outperformed all other shoes from Skechers I've tested this year.
The Skechers Max Cushioning Elite 2.0 can normally be found for $100, which is already very reasonable and half the price of some other shoes in the guide. In this early Black Friday deal, many sizes are reduced by 20% (a little over $20).
I rarely see both styles go on sale at the same time, but both the white/pink colorway and the lavender/blue still have plenty of stock available. Usually, the discount changes by size, but thanks to Black Friday the reduction seems to be remarkably consistent for Amazon, so you are likely to get 20% off, no matter your size.
I rated these shoes 4.5 out of 5 stars when I tested them early this year. If you're looking for a high-stack shoe, but don't want to fork out $140-$200 for something from Hoka or Brooks, then the Sketchers Max Cushioning Elite could be just what you're looking for. It's not a carbon copy of shoes from those brands, but it definitely offers similar levels of comfort and bounce as shoes twice the price.
I still wear my pair regularly, rotating with other, more expensive favorites, and I honestly can't tell the difference in quality. It's a great everyday shoe and one I recommend if you work on your feet all day.
