The Hoka Bondi 8 was my top rated shoe of 2024, spending most of the year crowning our guide to the best walking shoes, despite the many other shoes I put to the test during this time.

Usually over Black Friday you'll see the best discounts across the board, because most retailers get involved. Over that period there was a 19% discount on this shoe, so imagine my surprise to see an even better discount of 30% on the men's shoes and women's shoes this weekend.

If you like stacking, cushioning and bounce in a walking (or running) shoe, then these are an excellent choice, and for over $50 off they're a bargain to boot (pardon the pun).

There's $51 off these usually quite pricey shoes from Hoka, bringing them down to just over $110 in the January Sales. Whether you want a reliable walking shoe, work on your feet all day, or don't mind a slightly heavier running shoe, the Hoka Bondi 8 could be the perfect match for you.

The Bondi 8 earned a rare five our of five stars that I reserve for real standouts. I've tested multiple Hoka shoes and the Bondi still reigns supreme as my ultimate favorite. It's now replaced in the top spot of the walking guide by the Brooks Glycerin Max, but it's a much more budget-friendly shoe, especially with a discount.
